  1. Hi Lisa,

    You should have posted a Smashing Pumkins song for everyone to learn instead. The band anounced this week that they are holding open auditions for the next couple of weeks or so for a bass guitar player to work with them on their next record. They have more info on their website, but I bet that if you posted one of their song on here, then told your students to post them to Youtube, they could then send the vids to the smashing Pumkins for a shot at the bass guitar spot. (How cool would that be?)

  2. That would be cool indeed. My students tend to be guitar beginners, so I’m not sure many of them would find their way to auditioning for the role of bass player in Smashing Pumpkins. But hey, you never know.
